General Mills – Overview

Sagar Flour & General Mills is a high-capacity, locally recognized flour production facility, established in 2004. The mill is equipped with 10 modern roller bodies and has a daily grinding capacity of 100 metric tons (MT), along with a stacking capacity of approximately 4,000 MT. This robust infrastructure ensures consistent and efficient supply of flour products to retailers and wholesalers, who then distribute them to a broad consumer base across the region.

In addition to flour production, Sagar Flour & General Mills is actively engaged in the agriculture sector, dealing in high-quality rice, wheat, and dairy products. Production Procedure

Wheat Loading and Purification

Wheat is first loaded into the purification system to remove impurities such as dust particles, husks, and other debris

Sifting

The purified wheat undergoes sifting using specialized machines to ensure the removal of finer impurities and segregation of uniform grains.

Grinding

The purified wheat is processed through the mill's 10 roller bodies. Labour adjusts and calibrates the machines to meet the daily grinding targets.

Simultaneous Packing

While grinding is underway, a dedicated team of workers packs the freshly ground flour. Products are packaged according to category: Flour, Fine Flour, Maida, and Brawn.

Loading and Distribution

Once packaging is complete, the products are loaded onto trucks for distribution. Retailers and wholesalers purchase the stock at predetermined prices, ensuring timely delivery to the end consumers.
